I learned how to play backgammon in 1975. That was during the backgammon craze of the 1970s.
I've been playing regularly online since 2004.
From April 2008 until February 2017 I directed a local backgammon club that met weekly. Attendance dropped off in the fall of 2016, and I gave up on it.
