Despite a petition signed by 850 citizens and a preponderance of public hearing comment advocating modification of the E-F plan, the Council members shown in red voted to approve the E-F plan as is. This will permit buildings as tall as 7 stories and does not incentivize for affordable housing, energy efficient buildings, and green space. I regard their yes votes as a deplorable and haughty disdain of public comment.
It's my intention to never again vote for any of those shown in red and I strongly urge my friends and neighbors to do likewise. I will gleefully support whoever opposes them in future elections.
Cheers to Matt Czajkowski, Ed Harrison, and Jim Ward for their no votes. It is clear that they serve the people, and they have my vote in future elections, and I urge my friends and neighbors to also support them.
