Ken Larsen's Backgammon - DOUBLEHIT tactic     

  

Hit two checkers usually loose.

 

  1. If your opponent has a 3rd or 4th blot, a double hit can be very powerful.
  2. You are behind in the race.
  3. Your opponent does not have an anchor.
  4. You have an anchor.
  5. You and/or your opponent has vulnerability elsewhere.

 

Failing to double hit is often a blunder.

 

22/16 is 0.280 worse.
